We currently represent the people of Kidwelly on the County Council and the people of the Castle Ward on the Town Council through Keith Davies and the Mynydd-y-Garreg ward by Ryan Thomas.

Labour's Ryan Thomas tops poll in Kidwelly

Labour's candidate at the Mynydd-y-Garreg Ward by-election for Kidwelly Town Council topped the poll on Thursday (17th June) with 176 votes. At 22 years of age, Ryan will also be the youngest member of the Town Council.

Nia Griffith MP and Kidwelly Councillor Keith Davies are continuing to lobby council officers to provide a meeting room on the Morfa Maen site when local residents lose the use of the lounge when the complex is demolished to make way for much-needed bungalows.

Mynyddygarreg Bus Service to Resume

Nia Griffith MP and Cllr. Keith Davies are pleased to announce that the B5 'Bws Bach Cydweli' bus service connecting Mynyddygarreg and Four Roads with Kidwelly will resume from Monday 22nd of February. The service, which will be operated by Morris Travel will feature a new diversion to serve the Railway Station and Hillfield Villas area, improving access to Kidwelly Surgery and the Town Council Offices.

Assembly help for St. Mary’s

St. Mary’s Parish Church will benefit from a £125,000 grant from the Labour-led Welsh Assembly Government. The church is specially noted for its broad spire and Gothic detail. The money has been given for a comprehensive scheme of repair works that includes the historic spire.
