Nia Griffith MP and County Councillor Dewi Enoch will be holding an advice surjery at Tycroes Village Hall on Friday 26th June between 4:30 and 5:30pm. All are welcome.

The speed of traffic on the Pontarddulais and Penygarn Roads is a serious worry. Parents and children going to school are particularly at risk. Applications have been made to the Trunk Road Agency to install traffic calming measures but no action has been taken to date. If nothing is done soon we are proposing to mount a blockade of traffic outside the school. If you are worried for your children’s safety, we hope you will support this action.

We are going to do a litter pickup with local residents to raise awareness of the problem. We will get the County Council to provide us with bags and grippers. Please let us know if you can come along. Contact Anne Beyer for further details 01269 596051.

What is litter? This can be as small as a sweet wrapper or as large as a bag of rubbish. It is an offence to drop litter in a public place, punishable by a fine of £95.
